Two men, 41 and 63, charged in connection with Hedge End aggravated burglary

Two men have been charged in connection with an incident at an address in Hedge End.

Leon Parker, 41, of Mescott Meadows, Hedge End, has been charged with aggravated burglary, attempt to cause GBH with intent to do GBH, assault occasioning ABH-level injuries and intentional strangulation.

He faced the charges when he appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Friday 19 June. He was subsequently remanded on conditional bail to next appear at Southampton Crown Court on Wednesday 15th July for a Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing (PTPH).

Anthony Charles Parker, 63, of Fairfax Court, Southampton, has been charged with aggravated burglary, attempt to cause GBH with intent to do GBH and assault occasioning ABH-level injuries.
He is appearing at Southampton Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday 23 June).

The charges follow the reported assault on a man in his 40s after entry had been forced to a property on Radley Close.

The incident occurred at approximately 8.30pm on Wednesday 12 May.
